Summer Program
SUMMER PK ~ Our summer program provides fun and educational child care for kids who will be entering kindergarten through 6th grade in the coming fall. Please note, pre-kindergarten children must have attended our PK Teddy Bears Program during the school year to attend in the summer.
CUB CADETS >> During the summer, children entering kindergarten thru 2nd grade are located at the Byron Primary School (BPS) from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
GRIZZLIES >> Children entering 3rd thru 6th grade are located at the BPS from 6:00 to 7:15 AM, then the Bryon Intermediate School (BIS) from 7:15 AM to 4:45 PM, then the BPS again from 4:45 to 6:00 PM.

The registration period for PK's 2026 Summer Program begins at 7:00 AM on Wednesday, April 1st.

Important Notes
Program Capacity
HEADS UP! Project Kids commonly reaches maximum capacity during each program registration period. Submitting an application does not in any way guarantee acceptance into the program. In addition, PK may find it necessary to reduce attendance capacity on any given day due to space limitations, staff-to-child ratio requirements, and/or other considerations.
Billing Contract
If a child is accepted into a Project Kids program, the family will enter into a billing contract and will be required to pay for a minimum number of child care days—regardless if their child attends fewer days (excludes days PK is closed).
