PROGRAM DOCUMENTS
ENROLLMENT APPLICATION
IMPORTANT!! Existing accounts MUST be in good financial standing to be considered for enrollment, and all accounts MUST remain in good standing to continue utilizing PK’s child care services.
PROCEDURES
The application period for the Cub Cadets & Grizzlies school year programs typically begins in early to mid June.
Priority enrollment is given to existing PK families during the first three days of the registration process; however, placement into the upcoming program session is NOT guaranteed. If more applications are received than there are spots available, a “lottery” will occur within eight days to place the existing families and to start a waiting list. “Existing” is defined as any family who used PK for a significant portion of time during one or both of the two most recent program sessions.
Considering the availability of spots, new families (and any existing families who submit their application(s) after the initial 3-day period) will either be accepted into the program or be added to the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.
Families who submit their application(s) during the initial registration period will be notified of their child(ren)’s enrollment status within 14 days of the registration start date. Enrollment will of course continue past this time period if PK has not reached full capacity.
For families wishing to enroll more than one child into the program, please complete a separate application for each. For existing PK families, please be certain to notify us of any changes to your address, email, or phone numbers; emergency contacts; persons authorized to pick up; and/or child’s health information.
The school year session has an annual registration fee. However, please do NOT submit payment with your child's application; if your child is accepted into the program, you will be charged the registration fee at that time and can pay during the first billing cycle.
Enrollment applications may be turned in at the Primary School or Intermediate School, or emailed to:

ENROLLMENT APPLICATION
PROCEDURES
The primary application period for the Teddy Bears school year program typically occurs in mid March, early April. If the program is not at full capacity after the initial round, enrollment would continue until all spots are filled.
Applications are largely prioritized by 1) preschool class selections—priority given to students enrolled in a Preschool Plus Childcare class, then to those in a M-F Full Day class; 2) number of care days needed—preference given to those needing 4-5 days; and 3) date and time applications are received. If maximum capacity is reached, a waiting list would be generated.
For families wishing to enroll more than one child into the program, please complete a separate application for each.
If your child is accepted into the program for any or all of your selected options, a registration fee will apply and payment will be due within one week of your notice to hold your child’s spot >> Do NOT submit payment with your child’s application. When the time comes, please make your check or money order payable to Byron Project Kids and turn it in at the Community Education Center (CEC).
IMPORTANT!! Please do NOT submit your child's Teddy Bears application until after you have received their Byron Preschool class confirmation.
Enrollment applications may be turned in at the CEC office, 630 1st Avenue NW (drop-box available), or emailed to:
